Notre monde naturel est confronté aux menaces les plus graves qu'il ait jamais connues.
Et d’abord et avant tout, à la destruction rapide de la biodiversité dont la vie dépend.
Pire encore, cette menace bien réelle est en train d’être transformée en produit de marketing pour relancer l'économie mondiale.
Derrière l'appel pour le Nouveau Deal pour la Nature (« New Deal for Nature », en anglais), également appelé le Global Deal For Nature ou Global Goal For Nature, sont les entreprises les plus puissantes du monde, les institutions financières et les ONG de conservation, y compris celles qui sont complices de violations des droits humains, en particulier le WWF.
Le Forum économique mondial, qui a conclu un partenariat avec les Nations Unies le 13 juin 2019, soutient également cet accord.
Le Nouveau Deal pour la Nature a du être finalisé lors de la Conférence de la Convention sur la diversité biologique (COP 15) en Chine en octobre 2020 (désormais différé à octobre 2021).
C’est une sorte de putsch qui permettra aux grandes entreprises internationales de mettre la main sur les biens communs. Cela entraînera la monétisation de toute la nature à l'échelle mondiale.
Sous couvert de protection de l'environnement, cet accord lance en fait la privatisation, la marchandisation et l'objectivation de toute la nature, à grands renfort d’images émouvantes présentées dans un cadre holistique.
Cet accord fait également planer la menace de nouveaux déplacements et génocides d’autochtones.
Le Nouveau Deal pour la Nature impliquerait une totale transformation du système économique mondial pour créer de nouveaux marchés, dans le seul but de sauver le système capitaliste économique mondial qui détruit notre avenir commun et toute vie sur Terre.
C’est Mark Tercek, ancien PDG de l'ONG The Nature Conservation, qui décrit le mieux ce qui se cache derrière cet accord : « Ça me rappelle quand je travaillais à Wall Street. Tous les nouveaux marchés, les marchés les plus juteux, c'est comme ça qu'ils commencent. »
Il faut stopper cet accord. Nous appelons tous ceux qui se soucient de la nature à manifester leur opposition dès à présent.
Nous les exhortons à faire des réunions publiques, à diffuser l'information, à se réunir pour mener des campagnes locales, à organiser des manifestations et à prendre toutes les mesures nécessaires pour mettre un terme à cette attaque monstrueuse et sans précédent contre notre monde vivant par le système capitaliste.

The much-vaunted "green" agenda of the World Economic Forum (WEF) is coming under attack as its annual Davos summit gets underway.
A new international campaign has been launched which alleges the WEF is guilty of spearheading a bid by corporations and financial institutions to "monetize" nature on a global scale.
It is calling on people across the world to hold public meetings, disseminate information, form local campaign groups and "to take whatever action is necessary" to halt the so-called "New Deal for Nature".
An online statement from the "No Deal for Nature" alliance [1], whose slogan is "life is not a commodity", has already won the support of several academics and campaigners.
It warns that "under the guise of environmental protection" a massive exploitation scheme is in fact being drawn up, with the aim of maintaining the current wealth and power transfer from the poor to the rich.
The WEF boasts on its own website that "young climate activists, including Greta Thunberg" will be attending the Davos event in Switzerland from January 21. [2]
It insists it will be discussing "how to address the urgent climate and environmental challenges that are harming our ecology and economy" and "how to transform industries to achieve more sustainable and inclusive business models".
However, the WEF also reveals it will be examining "how to govern the technologies driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution so they benefit business". [3]
The package of policies known as the "New Deal for Nature" is being promoted not only by the WEF, but also by the United Nations (UN) [4], the World Bank [5] and the controversial WWF. [6]
The UN has admitted it wants to "advance a new political agenda" involving "increased promotion of innovative financing that supports green infrastructure". [7]
The new campaign describes this agenda as a "monstrous and unprecedented assault on our living world by the capitalist system".
It warns that nature and humanity alike will suffer, with the threat of "further Indigenous displacement and genocide".
The campaigners conclude: "The NDFN must be stopped. We call on all those who care about nature to speak out now".
